**READING BENCHMARK IS WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7 IN THE MORNING

Reading:  We are reading books on sequence and character/setting. We will take a comprehension test on Friday. Our word skills are digraphs and blends. In writing we are working on focusing on one topic with writing our sentences, as well as sequence and describing words.

Math: We are working on time. Students need to be able to read an analog clock on the hour and half hour, as well as match a digital time with an analog clock.

Science:  We are doing experiments and investigations until winter break.

Social Studies:  We are  working on our unit with communities, holidays, and traditions. We are learning about different countries and how they celebrate winter holidays.
