When it rains, it pours!!!!
Once again, our weekend activities have been canceled due to the weather
conditions. Please see the information below forwarded to me from Mrs Nordmeyer. I also received the information earlier from Suffolk Public
Schools transportation.
Marching band students should NOT report to Nansemond River HS on Saturday
at 4 p.m. The Hampton Holly Days Parade has been canceled. There will not
be a rain date for the event.

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) – Wet weather is expected to move into the area
over the weekend, forcing some areas to cancel or change their holiday
events.
The following events will be affected by weather:
*Hampton*
The Holly Days Parade has been canceled. There will not be a makeup date.
*Poquoson*
The Poquoson Lighted Boat Parade will now take place Sunday, Dec. 15 from 5
p.m. to 8 p.m. It was originally scheduled for Saturday.

The Surry County Parks and Recreation Christmas Parade has been canceled.

Suffolk City Holiday Parade
The Downtown Suffolk Holiday Parade which was scheduled for Saturday evening, December 14th, has been cancelled due to the 100% shower predictions, cold temperatures and prolonged rain event which has been forecast for the City of Suffolk from the National Weather Service.
