Practical Strategies to Increase Social Emotional Learning and Promote Equity Within the Classroom

Dates:  July 30, 2020 or August 5, 2020 (register for one of the dates)

Time:  9:00AM-12:00PM

Participants will build/expand understanding of the importance of social-emotional learning in promoting equitable practices within the classroom setting. They will learn practical strategies to increase social-emotional skills in the areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making and will explore how increasing those skills can lead to a more inclusive environment. Given the current unique circumstances, the content will be relevant to both virtual and face-to-face environments.
