Virginia Association for the Gifted

The Virginia Association for the Gifted is an organization founded in 1977 to support gifted education. It publishes periodic electronic newsletters; organizes a statewide conference in odd numbered years; organizes a statewide seminar in even numbered years; supports research in gifted education; supports specialized professional preparation for educators of the gifted; and recognizes outstanding educators for their contributions to gifted learners. Membership is open to individuals who are interested in the education of the gifted.
