Continue reading »]]> The parent meeting on Monday was a great success.  Many fundraising ideas were mentioned and have been moving forward. Some ideas proposed are:

  1. Cup Sales – currently going on.  Deadline extended to Friday, April 12th
  2. Cornhole tournament – set for Friday, April 19th in Driver,  This will begin at 5:30pm!
  3. Car Wash - tentatively set for April 20th
  4. AAU Track Meets – April 27th and May 4th – We need concession stand help and clean up crews.
  5. Donut sales
If I have missed any please let me know.  If you have any other suggestions please let me know that too!  We would like to do one a month.

Continue reading »]]> Over the weekend the Nansemond River High School Girls 4×2 earned All-American honors The team of Mia McClain, Brandee Johnson, Kara Lyles, and Kieaira Middleton finished 6th place at the high school National meet. In addition, freshman Brandee Johnson became Nansmemond Rivers 1st Freshman All-American in two events, by finishing 2nd in the National Freshman 400 meter, and 3rd in the freshman 60 meter dash. Also sophomore Zakiya Rashid finished 3rd in the National Emerging Elite section at the National Championship meet. Good job ladies

Our first meet is Thursday! please remember to pack- a healthy snack, water or Gatorade, uniform, wind suit, a great attitude! Make sure you have turned in any work that is due on Thursday..
