Number2.com offers students access to comprehensive free online test preparation courses for the SAT, ACT, and GRE.  By creating an account, students can access a customized course that includes user-friendly tutorials, practice sessions, a vocabulary builder, and more.

INeedaPencil provides free SAT prep lessons in Math, Reading and Writing.  The practice exam questions simulate the SAT and provide full explanations and unique features like a score projector to show students how they are predicted to score on the real exam.

The Suffolk Public Library has a Testing & Education Reference Center that is a start-to-finish resource with over 100 practice tests and courses and information on over 4,000 accredited schools.  Test preps include GED, ASVAB, AP Exams, ACT, SAT, GRE, Praxis, and Civil Service Tests.  A public library card is needed to access this database.

4Tests is a practice test site for High School, College, Professional, and Standardized Exams and Tests.  This site provides practice questions, tutorials, and a study store.

 

PrepFactoryprepfactory is a free service for high school students to use to prepare for the SAT and ACT. PrepFactory offers students a series of tutorial videos and written tips to help them prepare for both tests. After completing a tutorial students can test themselves in a series of practice questions. Each question setis timed and and limited to chunks of ten questions at a time. Students can earn badges for completing tutorials or question sets.
