Eligibility Criteria: You must be a primary member of Virginia Credit Union (not just any credit union in Virginia) and must have joined VACU account, not just a joint owner, and the account must be in good standing. You must be a graduating high school senior, or a college student (rising freshmen, sophomore, junior or senior) at an accredited college or university, taking at least nine (9) credit hours for semester for the 2012-2013 academic year. You must have a minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average. (Please note that VACU employees, directors, committee members, other volunteers and their families are not eligible. American Meteorological Society (AMS) Minority Scholarship
