King’s Fork Middle School is committed to providing a challenging education so that students are equipped with basic as well as critical thinking skills in order to be productive in the competitive, technological, and culturally diverse society of the 21st century.  By using the teaming approach, faculty and staff are able to meet together to monitor student progress as well as plan lessons and share teaching strategies.  The Accelerated Reader program is part of the instructional day for all students. This state-of-the-art facility includes a distance learning laboratory, Media Center with a technology laboratory, and a full-sized gymnasium designed for after-school community use.  All classrooms are connected to the Media Center via telephone, LAN, and computer controlled overhead projectors.  Each classroom has a computer connected to a overhead projectors as well as at least two additional computers so that students may participate in technology enhanced instruction.
