In 3rd block, students who had yet to present their PBA did so.  Afterward, students reviewed reading resource maps, and interpreted bar and line graphs on population and literacy.

I hope that everyone is enjoying the surprise extra winter break we are getting.  However, don’t forget that all PBA (Crisis in Africa) papers and presentations are due your next class.  There will be no remediation.  Bring a hard (printed) copy of your paper.  Make sure, when you do your Google slides, you share it with me at valorietucker@spsk12.net.

When we have completed the PBA, students will receive 3 grades:

  1. Classwork for rough draft
  2. Classwork for peer edit
  3. Test for final paper and presentation

Make sure you are ready to turn in and present on your next class.

Class 10/5 & 10/6

Posted by: Valorie Tucker | October 5, 2017 Comments Off on Class 10/5 & 10/6 |

These days we are having a test.  The test consists of the students making a book– they choose a country and then research a number of themes to crate a book with both text and drawing.  If not finished, students may take home or get remediation for.
