Week of January 11th
Dear Parents,
Please know that I will offer tutoring this week on Thursday, Jan 14th until 3:30. Hope to see your child in attendance. We have great after-school tutoring sessions.
Monday I will be giving a classroom grade for coming to class prepared. Math binders will count 50 points, loosleaf notebook paper (not spiral notebooks!) will count 30 points, one pencil is worth 10 points and the second pencil another 10 points. An extra credit of 5 points will be given for any student who has his/her agenda on their desk. Please encourage your 6th grader to come to class prepared. I only ask for paper and pencils each day along with the homework assigned the night before. Math binders help us keep our work organized.
This week’s homework:
Monday: make a set of flash cards wtih the vocabulary for 6.21. Put the terms on one side and the definitions on the back.
Tuesday – write a complete sentence using each vocabulary word.
Wednesday – p. 293 #1-25 odd.
Thursday – p. 293 #2-26 even.
