For Wednesday, May 27, you need to do the following:

• Be prepared for a quiz on vocabulary 1-10 (ending with “jeer).
• Have your sentences for those words ready to submit.
• Be prepared for a quiz on Chapter 9-11 of LOTF.
• Have your journal entries for 6-8 (last call) and 9-11 (first call).

For Wednesday, May 27, you need to do the following:

• Be prepared to take a vocabulary quiz (words 1-20, ending with “jeer”).
• Turn in your vocabulary sentences.
• Write your literary analysis (your class elected to watch part of LOTF instead of working on those today).
• Make sure that you have your Jack graphic organizers in class.

Wednesday, May 27:

• You must must have the book LOTF finished!
• You will have the final two quizzes: Chapters 6-8 and 9-11.
• Please have your journal entries for 9-11 ready.
• You should also have your vocabulary sentences finished (your quiz will be next Thursday).
• You need to have the Jack as an Animal graphic organizer finished and in class; you need a minimum of 5 quotes with explanations.  This will evolve into an essay, so make sure that you complete it.

We will have to work in a semi-colons/colons quiz and a couple of other grades to catch you up.  We’ll discuss these in class.
