September 10, 2016

Here is an example of what your student’s reading and writing homework should look like after the answers have been located/noted in the passage (there will be two each week) along with an example of the written response and the rubric that will be used to grade it (for completion).

This is what the written response should look like (all answers must be in complete sentences), with a capital letter for the first word and a period at the end.

This week we will begin working in guided reading and math groups for most of our language arts and math blocks.  We will also create our Class Contract as a whole group.

Remember that Open House is Tuesday night immediately following the PTA meeting at 6:00 p.m.

There is no math, social studies, or science homework this week.
