What We’re Learning, October 31 to November 4, 2016

Posted by: Susan Markham | October 31, 2016 | No Comment |

Reading:  We are reading several stories in class, including Pig In A Wig from our reading series. We will take a comprehension test on Friday.  We are working on capitalization and punctuation in writing. Look in the red folder for the new homework menu.

Math: We are beginning patterns. Students need to know that patterns repeat and grow. Students need to be able to extend a pattern and change it from a color or shape pattern to letters (ex:  red, red, blue is AAB)

Science:  We will be reviewing for our natural resources test Tuesday and our benchmark Friday.

Social Studies:  We will be taking our benchmark test Wednesday afternoon. Students should review the study guide. All concepts will be on the test. Timeline projects are due Monday, November 7.

Notes:  Remember there is no school for students November 8th or 11th. Don’t forget to vote!
