Biology Story Time

Here’s a reminder of the supplies that you need for our biology class:

1. 100 3 X 5 index cards in a ziplock bag
2. a spiral notebook with GRAPH paper (4 X 4 quadrille) 
3. a 3 ring notebook
4. regular pencils and colored pencils. 

Welcome to the Story Time Blog site!  Biology is an SOL class and so it is an important class to be conquered!   Here, I will communicate with my 3 classes of general biology:  Blocks 2,4, and 7.   

You will be led to this blog site continually throughout the year.  Some of the things you will find here that will help you succeed in biology are:

• Assignments and reminders!
• Powerpoints for all major units
• Unit reviews and, sometimes, their answer keys!
• Vocabulary
• Review sites for many of our topics
• SOL review site

So, here is your first BLOG assignment:    

1. Go to the site below and take this fun quiz. 
2. Record your answers on a seperate page in your lab journal and show your own corrections.
3. Write a brief summary noting (4 sentences minimum) some of the new things your learned about the very diverse places that living organisms are found … even depended upon.
