So … the first primary, the Iowa caucus, has just been completed. The first two potential presidential candidates to ‘win’ are Obama (D) and Huckabee (R). Google these two candidates in terms of their position on environmental issues.
1. What are their positions? What environmental priorities have they posted on their official website?
2. Which candidate would seem to commit more “federal dollars” toward environmental issues?
3. List a few pros and cons of having the federal gov’t pay for environmental clean-up, legal oversite = i.e. expanding the authority of the EPA.
