Sorry I can’t make the appropriate accent marks in this program!

1)  Students turn in summer reading projects!

2)  Using laptop/computer in lab, students type up their own resume.

3)  I check off who has their two college applications and collect (on my jump  drive) powerpoint slides on Anglo-Saxon history from any groups from which I have not received them.

4)  Vocabulary Quiz next class:  (glib, lugubrious, finesse, nemesis, purloin, banal, pseudonym, lampoon, nefarious, & bellicose)

We had a guest speaker from Bryant & Stratton College speak to us about resume writing and interviewing skills.  I’m sorry if you were absent; we had a great time and learned a lot!

HW:  Have the information necessary (dates when you worked at a given job, awards received, etc.) to type up your own resume next class.  Also, bring those college applications

I think I figured out how to reformat things, but it will take undoing most of what I worked on last night, so check out the English 12 page for now.  Thanks!
