Basically, even bells just had more time to read Ch. 3 in class and finish their Ch. 1-2 work…
1) Journal #4: Freewrite (an extra one in honor of our tornadoes)
2) PowerPoint slide #3: Define theme, pun, situational irony, and dramatic irony. After the next slide, these definitions will be collected (all four slides worth).
3) Discussion of Ch. 2 from Lord of the Flies and LotF as an allegory…then …
4) Quiz on Chapters 1 & 2.
5) Turn in your notes on William Golding and your questions on Chapters 1 and 2, all stapled together.
6) Read Chapter 3 and answer the following questions. Ch. 3 LotF questions! You’ll finish reading Ch. 3 and we’ll read Chapter 4 together next class.
