Regrettably Perfect…

Sarah frowned as she looked out of the class window. It had snowed much more than they expected. The forecast that morning said there wouldn’t be more than a few inches. It looked like a blizzard out there. Not only that, but the snow outside was untouched and perfect. Even worse? It was only five-past-eleven. She sighed and looked down at her borrowed pencil. She had lost her own somewhere in the fray that was called a ‘hallway.’ She ended up borrowing the pencil from the teacher. It was brand new. A scowl on her face, she looked at the perfectly shaped eraser, and took it to the paper in front of her, not caring that she was missing the purposely placed blemishes. (more…)
