I’ve posted an online project for 3rd grade to the web. The students will write a newspaper article (the prompt given is related to Simple Machines) and then generate an image of their article that looks like a newspaper clipping. (Please thank Mrs. Williams for the prompt!)

Here is the link.

Hey, Quiana!! Well, I will forgive you for your lack of capitalization (and some missing punctuation) in your comment because you remembered that “a lot” is two words! I am so proud! It should be quiet in your English class - especially when you are reading or writing an essay! I am guessing that Levon is not in your English class this year. ;-) Do you guys have any classes together? How was your report card? I am sure you did very well! I miss you guys, too. I just can’t get used to not having a classroom full of kids of my own. It is very good to hear from you! I hope you are having a terrific year! If I don’t hear from you again before then, have a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Well no levon isn’t in any of my classes. On my report card i had 3 A’s 3 B’s and one C. I Stilll hate writing those essays. and there is only one way to solve that problem next year you can come be a tenth grade english teacher.

Hey, that’s great!!! I a very proud of you! I also know you can bring up that C for next time! You wrote such a lovely essay for me last year about how quiet you used to be until your teachers all insisted that you talk during class. I don’t know why you don’t enjoy writing! Awww…I think I might like teaching 10th grade - I have actually thought many times about teaching high school English…we’ll see. I do like what I am doing now, though…
