I posted a mini-review of continents, oceans, and some geography vocabulary (e.g. latitude, longitude, equator, prime meridian, compass rose, etc.), to the web. The review consists of multiple screens (the navigation icons are at the top of each screen) - some of the screens are strictly informational, and others are multiple choice assessment screens. The review course includes images and sound and is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels. Here is the link:

Oh my lord!!! What have I missed while I was gone!!!??? You’re teaching 5th and 3rd? Or am I missing something here! Are you working in the new elementary school!? So many questions, so little time!
I really miss you though! None of the teachers here are as fun! Well, I didn’t get the stiff-stoic-looking teacher, she teaches regular English 9 or something. I have Mrs. Parker. She’s nice and all, and I’m learning well, but it’s just not the same… And guess what? I’m actually studying this year (not to say I didn’t study for your class… just not all the time…) and I have straight A’s so far! Now I’m regreting not studying more last year…
Well, I think I said enough, but I don’t think your little kiddies (if you are teaching them) check up on the website. So you have to tell me what’s going on! I’m so confused! Just go ahead and e-mail me, I might not check it every day, but it’s still better than forgetting this webside all the time.
Miss you!

Janelle! How nice to hear from you! I miss you guys, too! I am working at two of the elementary schools in the district - not the new one, though. I do work with the kids some (all of the grades, Kindergarten through 5th, although so far I have been working mostly with 3rd, 4th, and 5th), but I don’t have a class of my own. It’s really strange not having my own classes!
Straight A’s!! I am so proud of you! That is fantastic - I knew you could do it! I hope you have continued with your writing - you really are gifted. I know that high school is more demanding than 8th grade, but I hope you are still able to find time for writing. I will email you soon - and I am still waiting for you to email me what you have written so far on the novel you said you were working on. I am looking forward to reading it!
