I know, I know….it’s barely Halloween and I’m talking about a December holiday already! I am taking a class right now and I put this unit together as my final project. It includes pre-reading, during reading, and post reading activities, templates for the projects, links to assist students, software tutorials, rubrics, and examples of student work. There is also a link to the full text of the novel. So, if anyone is teaching A Christmas Carol and could use a couple of ideas for activities, feel free to use anything I have here!

I posted a mini-review of continents, oceans, and some geography vocabulary (e.g. latitude, longitude, equator, prime meridian, compass rose, etc.), to the web. The review consists of multiple screens (the navigation icons are at the top of each screen) - some of the screens are strictly informational, and others are multiple choice assessment screens. The review course includes images and sound and is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels. Here is the link: Continents and Oceans - Online Review Tags: Geography |
