Students will be working towards their goal their goal . Every Friday they earn money if they are on point from Professor Purple.

Majority of class has been behind on AR for past 2 weeks. Please let’s get caught up. Last nine weeks we were #1.

Please make sure your child is reading AR daily and ready to test in their zone. Students need 85%-90% accuracy with their points. If they go below 85% or do not meet their points or AR level, they will lose their AR award at the end of the nine weeks. Last night weeks we had 4 students who barely missed their AR goal. This quarter we are expecting 100% of our class to meet their AR goal. Thank you for your support and all your hard work !

Last Nine weeks we had only 4 students who were below 85%. Our goal this 9 weeeks is to have 100% reading and testing with 85-90% accuracy.

Dear Parents,

In Social Studies, we have been studying about American Indians. The children need to be able to compare the lives of Indians in different geographic regions (clothing, homes, food, and transportation).

In order to help them make the comparison between regional groups, each child is to do a project on ONE group. Please help your child follow the guidelines listed below and complete and turn in the project by January 9, 2013. Each student will orally present their project on that day.

Thank you for your support,
