Welcome to the 8th grade! Wow!

This year will be busy, you have 2 SOL exams to prepare for, 8 writings to accomplish, 3-4 in-class novels to read, 1-2 projects, many classroom activities, AR books to read, get to class on time, remember your locker combination, bring the right notebook to class, most important of all — “Is it an odd or even day?”

I use quite a bit of technology on the way through the year, you will be responsible for answering questions on this blog, doing projects and sending them to me via e-mail, getting extra credit by answering the SAT challenge questions, and major class assignments are usually found one of the tabs at the top of this page.

My best advise to you? BE PREPARED FOR CLASS!
