        One of the challenging things to find as a classroom teacher was material for my listening station, especially quality nonfiction material.  Look at what National Geographic has provided!  On this website, students can click on a particular issue, and virtually “flip” the pages of a reader with the click of the mouse.  When the audio symbol is clicked, the students will hear the text read to them, as the words are highlighted in red.  The graphics are wonderful, and students will get a kick out of “turning the pages”.  Visit the website below for yourself!
