So I’ve just created a free account with Survey Monkey.  This site allows you to write questions in various forms, from multiple choice to short answer, then “wraps” the questions into a link to a survey page, from which students can take a survey.  The basic account doesn’t allow you to download the results in a document, but you can see the results of each question in a graph.  Could this be a creative way to conduct quick pre-assessments before a unit?  Maybe!  Try it out.
