Our first Pasta Dinner Fundraiser was great. The girls did a super job with their “teamwork” on the serving floor. It was great to see all the families come out and help support or volleyball program.

OK ladies it looks like you will be serving about 140 guests!! Not bad.
As for the pasta, Coach Brobston and I figure Penne would be the best due to the “scooping” factor.
T-SHIRTS
We will be selling the T-Shirts - you know - the black ones with NRHS volleyball on them! - during our home games. We have med., large, and X-Large.
Ok here is the lowdown for next week. As I know it!
Monday - practice 3:30-5:30
Tuesday - Coach will show you around to your classes and teachers @ 2:30 (this is due to orientation being on a game night. I promise parents, your daughter will not miss anything by missing orientation. I have spoken to Mr. McLemore and he agreed that they would get a better tour with just us. Parents are welcome to walk with us.
PICTURES ( bring your smiles) Be here at 3:30 sharp!
Wednesday - GAME vs. Great Bridge @ Great Bridge. I am not sure what time the bus will leave but you will know BEFORE this day.
Thursday - Pasta Dinner - Everyone need to be here by 4:00pm - Dressed in BLACK PANTS and WHITE SHIRT. Bring smiles and good attitudes and we will do great!!
Friday - Maybe practice 3:30pm - I have to watch Mason.
OK I think I have covered everything for now. I am on my way to practice!! see you there.
The official picture day is Tuesday, Aug. 28th.
We are scheduled for 3:45 in the gym. We will have practice after all volleyball teams have taken their pictures. I have the envelopes for you to take home. These pictures are taken by LifeTouch . If you want individual pictures you most have the money @ that time.
Everyone is to wear their uniform.
Some of you don’t have your uniforms. I know this and we are working hard to get the door fixed so we can get to them.

For Thursday and Friday this week we will continue practice from 2pm - 5pm. At 4pm we will scrimmage varsity.
On Monday through Friday of next week (Except Wednesday - GAME DAY!!!) we will practice 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Starting after Labor Day practices will be 2:30 (school is out @ 2:15, you should be able to get dressed and start putting up the net) -4:30pm
Don’t forget all money for dinner tickets are due now!!

I want to congratulate Jackie on all of her hard work and dedication on the volleyball court. She is now on the varsity team. We will miss her greatly but are happy for her successes!!

Ok ladies how’s those pasta dinner sales going? Money is due on Wednesday!!
Remember practice starts @ 2pm today until 5pm. Sorry for the change parents but it was needed for the boys’ coach and our sanity!! I guess we will have to go day by day - I will let the girls know each practice. It will either be 2-5 or 3-6 this week. Next Monday we will start our 2hr. practices.
I am working on getting King’s Fork to come over for a scrimmage Thursday or Friday. I will let you know if this is going to happen!

NRHS JV Volleyball of course. Hope you girls are having a great weekend. Are you running? Are you getting those jump ropes out? Don’t forget to bring a jump rope to practice next week!! Jumping rope is a lot more fun than wall jumps!!
