Just wanted to thank you all for your support this year. The students are really doing well with algebraic expressions and using formulas. Thank you for the gifts….bag of fruit…candles…rice crispy treats…baked cookies…peppermint cookies…snowflake bag of goodies…white citrus body lotion…gift card to Applebees…hot chocolate…candy canes…Christmas box of chocolates….ornaments…and the jar of goodies. I truly appreciate the cards and the notes that were written from your hearts…especially the homemade card that said…”Sorry I couldn’t get you a present. Thank you for what you have done so far for me this year. You are the best Math teacher I have ever had in my life”…Wow…I’ll take that “Compliment gift” anytime. Hope you all have a Safe and Happy Holiday. See you on Jan. 2, 2013.

- p.595 Lesson 1-5 #1-9.
- Yesterday we took the midpoint test. The results are glued in the back of your interactive notebook. If you received a 100% your are in great shape for passing the State Test. However; if you have any Sol”s highlighted, you have not yet mastered that Sol. Sol’s not mastered may result in you being retained in the 6th grade or going to summer school. My pass rate on the test was excellent…so if your child has any Sol’s highlighted you need to ask your child…do you always do your homework and show your work the way Mrs. Nash practiced it in class???are you absent a lot??? I cannot help you if you will not practice the Sol’s taught by completing your homework every night and completing it the way we practiced it in class. I cannot help you if you are absent on a regular basis. I have a homework blog that I update nightly. If your child has several Sol’s highlighted you may want to check my homework blog to ensure that they are completing their homework and showing their work. Your child has homework every night in Math.
- Have the Midpoint information sheets that are glued in the back of your interactive notebook signed. (There are 2)
