(INp.44) p.616 lesson 11-1 #1-18

Complete this probability.      A basket is filled with 6 oranges, 2 apples, and 4 pears. Without looking, Jill selects two fruits. What is the probability that she will select an apple first and an orange second. (Hint: She does not replace the first fruit).

Is this an example of independent probability or dependent probability? Explain.

The nine weeks test is Oct. 29th. It will include any Sol’s that you have not mastered (See the highlighted Sheet located in the back of your interactive notebook.) If you have 100% highlighted you have nothing to worry about but the new Sol’s (6.4, 6.6, 6.16). If you have an Sol highlighted, then it is important that you pass this Sol on the nine weeks test. This will be your second attempt to try and master this Sol. For some of you, you may have more than one highlighted.
