Math State test will be given on Wednesday, June 6th. Review the “Parent Reports” located at the front/sometimes back of your child’s interactive notebooks for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th nine weeks. If an Sol is highlighted, that means that your child may not be moving on to the 7th grade. These are the Sol’s that have not yet been mastered. There are plenty online practice problems available. I encourage you and your child to find them online and practice them.

(INp.40)  (Red Book) p.478 #9-24. Prove your answers. If you are comparing several units….convert all units in question to the smallest unit. Look at last nights homework to be sure you proved those answers as well.

Progress reports were sent home for 2nd and 3rd blocks only. 1st block progress reports will be sent home tomorrow.

State Math test will be given on June 6th and 7th. It’s never too early to start reviewing all Sol’s taught this year. The “Blue Booklets” are a great study guide. If you have lost or misplaced them…you can find them on line.

Study Multiplication Facts. Test tomorrow. Concentrate on the facts that give you the most trouble. (Make flash cards)

Bring to class tomorrow…

1. All Blue Booklets (Mathematics Review Notes for Parents and Students)

2. All interactive notebooks

Identify the sols that you have not yet mastered (the ones that I have highlighted…they should be in your interactive notebooks) and get help from a parent/friend/relative…you must master these Sol’s or risk going to Summer School   🙁
