We are continuing on our path of learning. Our time together continues to shrink rapidly.  We will have several quizzes and tests this week. We will be taking the final MAP Test this week in reading and math. This will give  me data about the progress that the students have made in those two areas. I will share those results with the students next week. Please review the information under each subject heading on my blog. There are several key dates below that I hope you will add to your calendar.

Believe you can and you’re half way there”.    ~Theodore Roosevelt

It is hard to believe we are half way through the third nine weeks. Our time together continues to move all too quickly. The Interim Reports went home on Friday. I would like them signed and back to me as soon as possible. I would also like to have graded papers that are 69% or lower to be signed and returned to me as well. This lets me know you have seen the graded papers. Please continue to sign the graded paper folder.   I appreciate your help with this request. We are approaching our first benchmark test next week. I will be giving the students a chart that will outline when our benchmark tests will be. It will be included in their agenda. I ask that you look over the chart so that my group will be here on test days.

The P.T.A has started a fundraiser. Please support this worthwhile organization. If you need to talk to me, please don’t hesitate to call, send in a note, send an e-mail, or come by and I will do the same. Take care and have a great week!
