Another wonderful day in kindergarten…

April study guides have been placed in folders. Please review skills being taught.

Students will begin PALS testing Thursday, May 3rd.

Field Day is Friday, May 4th. Kindergarten students are to wear blue t-shirts and sneakers. Also, parents are asked to donate small bottles of water or juice boxes. Thank you in advance.

Family Reading Night is Tuesday, May 8th, at 6:00. I hope to see you here!

Students are to wear purple each Wednesday for the month of April.

The Student Recognition Assembly will be held Thursday, April 26 at 9:50.

The field trip to NRHS will be Friday, April 27, to see  “The Lion King”.  All permission slips and money must be in by Tuesday, April 27th. Students will not be allowed to attend without a signed permission slip.

Please review skills taught. This week we will be discussing fraction, plants, writing phonetically, fiction and nonfiction books, digraphs and reviewing high frequency words.

Please continue to complete activities on Reading Eggs.

Math Science Night will be Tuesday, April 17th, at 6:00. Please plan to attend.

NPES  spring book fair will be held April 18-27.

Report cards will be distributed Friday, April 20th.

Our field trip to the Suffolk Cultural Arts Center will be Monday, April 23rd.

Students must be at school no later than 9:30. We will depart at 9:35.

Also, we will attend a performance at NRHS Friday, April 27th, as well. More information will be coming soon.

Students are doing very well with high frequency words. Please continue to complete activities on Reading Eggs and April’s study guide.

The color for April is purple-celebrating our Differences. Don’t forget to wear purple on Wednesdays.

Our Annual “Math and Science Night” will take place Tuesday, April 17th at 6:30. I hope to see you there!
