Hello,

We’ve spent quite a few days out due to snow. Please review skill on the study guide. The end of the grading period is Monday, February 5th. We are reviewing and completing SOL assessments. If your child doesn’t know his or her personal information please review it as well. Also, please have your child identify numbers before and after, without counting, when given any number between 1 and 10.

Remember the color for the month of January is blue.

Thank you,
C. Boone

Hello,
I hope you all had a joyous winter break. I really enjoyed the time off. Again, I would like to thank you all for the wonderful cards and gifts I received.
School has resumed and we must get back into the swing of things. Your child will be bringing home a guided reading book in a Ziploc bag once a week or as I meet with their group. Please have him/her track and read the text to you and identify words in isolation. Books must be returned in the bag the very next day in order that other students may read it as well.
Please remember to review high frequency words. This will enhance reading skills.

Thank you,
C. Boone
