Hello,

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Thank you for sending in items requested for our Fall Celebration. The students enjoyed every bit of it!

Report cards will be issued Tuesday, November 29th. If you would like to schedule a conference you may contact me. Conference times will be before and after school and during my resource time at 11:35 -12:25, Tuesday -Thursday, November 29th-December 1st.

Student Recognition Assembly for Kindergarten will take place Friday, December 1st, at 9:50.

The skills for this week  are: recognizing letters/sounds previously taught and the letters Q and X, identifying high frequency words,  concept of word with poem “Fuzzy Wuzzy” and sounding out CVC words as well recognizing words that rhyme. We will discuss basic needs and wants and measure objects using nonstandard units of measurement.

Hello,

Thank you for your donations to United Way.

There will be no written homework this week. Please review skills taught.

If you haven’t already done so please return the IAP survey forms (yellow) previously sent home.

Our Fall celebration will be Wednesday, November 23rd. Please send requested items to make it a success. The students are very excited.

Wednesday will be early dismissal. Students will be dismissed at 1:20.

I would like to wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

NPES will be accepting donations for United Way Monday, November 14th through Friday, November 18th. Please plan to participate. Also, please adhere to the flyer sent home earlier this last week for daily activities. In order to participate in the activities students must pay $3.oo by Wednesday, November 16th.

If you are interested in participating in, “Remind”, which is a free service to help keep you informed about school activities please follow steps on the blue form previously sent home.

The skills for this week are: recognize letters V and W, concept of word (Five little Ducks), make predictions using fiction and nonfiction books, identify high frequency words, construct graphs to gather data, recognize numbers 0-20 and continue with facts about Thanksgiving.

Hello,

Impact Aid Survey Program Forms were sent home Friday. Please complete and return them at your earliest convenience.

School will be closed Tuesday and Friday, November 8th and 11th.

We are almost finished with PALS testing. It seems to be going well with only a few exceptions.

The first nine weeks ends today.

The skills for this week are: identifying high frequency words, recognizing letters P / J and the sounds for each as well as previous letters taught, concept of word, facts about Thanksgiving, recognizing numbers 0-20, counting sets and writing the number to tell how many.
