Another wonderful day in kindergarten…

The students are preparing for the end of the year program. This has caused our schedule to change. Some students will be assigned a speaking part. Please assistant your child in learning his/her part. The program will be Wednesday, June 11th, at 10:00.

This will be the last week for written homework assignments. Please continue to review skills.

Also, our room is very cold. Students are asked to bring a sweater or a light weight jacket to wear in the classroom.

Thank you. Have a nice week.

Students will be involved in PALS testing this week. The test will be given individually.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9. School Nurse Day is May 5.

The Math Science Extravaganza is Tuesday, May 6th. Please plan to attend.

Field Day is Thursday, May 8th, with a rain date of May 9th. Kindergarten students are asked to wear a blue shirt and sneakers. Volunteers are welcome. You must complete a parent volunteer form in the office. Volunteers (working a station) will be allowed to have lunch. If you are accompanying your child (not working a station) you will not be served.

Parents, please pay attention to the snack calendar. Quite a few students are not bringing in snack. Also please review counting a collection of pennies and nickels up to 10 cents as well as writing a rhyming word for a given word.

Thank you,

C. Boone
