The Book Fair is here! The students are exited about going to the book fair to purchase items. It will end Friday, April 4th.

The Spring fundraiser will end Friay, March 4th, as well.

NPES will be involved in raising money for the March of Dimes. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

This week we will continue to work with high frequency words, welded sounds (rhyming words, word families), writing phonetically, relative locations, identifying numbers 0-30 and counting sets to tell how many up to 30.

Please pay attention to the spelling words at the top of the homework menu. Students will be tested on Friday.

Picture Day is March 26.

The Spring Fundraiser will end April 4.

This week we will continue to work with addition, locating objects by ordinal position and relative location, map skills, writing phonetically, and identifying high frequency words. 

Please pay attention to the homework menu. There are a set of spelling words that will be tested on Friday.

NPES will be involved in a Spring Fundraiser from March 17-April 4. This will be instumental in assisting with Field Day.

Year Book are on sale now. The cost is $25.00.

The P.T.A. Meeting  (Art Gala)  will be Tuesday, March 18.

This week we will be  working on rhyming words, story elements (beginning, middle, and end of stories), narrative writings, addition and map skills.

We are in need of glue sticks. Please send them in at your earliest convenience. It will be greatly appreciated.

We will continue working on the same skills as last week due to days missed because of bad weather. We will also begin addition and discuss sinking and floating .

Please continue to review high frequency words.

Nansemond Parkway will be conducting a Spring Fundraiser from March 14-April 4th. Brouchures will be distributed next week.

If you have not already done so please return the bottom of your child’s progress report with your signature.

This is a reminder: Please send in a written excuse if your child is absent.

This week we will be discussing digraphs, beginning , middle, and end of stories, answering questions using phonetically spelled words, telling time to the hour  on an analog and digital clock and properties of water. Please reinforce these skills as they are taught.

Also, please pay attention to your child’s snack day. There  have been quite a  few days that students did not bring in snack. Your cooperation is needed.
