Good afternoon everyone,
I have attached the information concerning Summer Band Camp Registration 2010 and Camp Info. You can find all the forms here. Summer Band Camp Registration 10-11
Welcome to Nansemond River High School 2010
If you are planning to go on a family vacation in the month of August please keep in mind that we only have 13 days of camp before school begins. If a student misses more than 5 days of band camp, the student will miss too much instructional time and will be ineligible to participate this season. This year we are incorporating the Z-Force Brass training camp August 9 – 12 and Woodwind Training August 16 – 19. If you are a brass or woodwind player, you will not want to miss a day of camp.
The car wash scheduled for today at the McDonalds has been canceled to due the rain 🙁
Please check the NRBB facebook page for more details.(http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=63398288784&ref=ts)
Good evening everyone,
This is just a reminder of the Magnificent Marching Warriors “Virual 100” Car Wash. We are raising funds to get our band to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the 95th Annual 6ABC / IKEA Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010. This is a significant stepping stone to our dream of getting into the Macy’s Parade in New York City. The car wash starts at 8:00 am. at the McDonalds near Burbage Grant and College Square. Make sure you see Mrs Papillion to verify your attendance. I will be there after I take my brother to the airport in the morning. He is leaving for Iraq. Please keep him in your prayers.
All Band students should be in the bandroom by 9:30 a.m. The parade starts on Route 17 (Bridge Road) at the baseball field near Ebenezer United Methodist Church. ALL BAND STUDENTS MUST HAVE A SIGNED PERMISSION SLIP.
