Marching Band practice canceled 9/25/08
Band practice has been canceled for today due to the severe weather this evening . Regular rehearsals will resume on Monday, September 29, 2008 from 2:25 - 5 p.m.

We’re Off to a Great Start!!!
Both the band and orchestra classes have gotten off to a great start. Parents are reminded:
- please ask your student for all of the paper work that should be signed and returned to teachers.
- all parents and volunteers must fill out a Suffolk Public Schools Volunteer application before participating with the boosters or chaperone.
- shoe and glove orders will go in on Monday
- 50% of your students band dues are due by September 12.
- Band dues are $450.00 for the 08-09 school year.
- a break down of the band dues is posted on the right.
- all students must have an instrument and required materials for band class by September 15. Students grades will be effected after Sept 15.
- Our first home football game is Friday, September 12 and our first competition is Saturday, September 13 (Norcom Band Day).
- Orchestra and Jazz Band students must have a uniform for performance. The deadline for ordering uniforms is October 8, 2008.
- All students are required to practice a minimum of 30 min a day 6 days a week.
