The past two weekends have been very busy for the instrumental music program at NRH. Congratulations Melvin and Paul for earning a first chair position in the All City Orchestra. The All City Band was equally superb with guest conductor Mr. John Brewington. The NRH Band boosters produced a professional fashion show featuring the graduating seniors in the music program. I hope that this will be an annual event for the band boosters. It was an appropriate and elegant rite of passage for the seniors in the program. Thank you everyone for all of your hardwork and sacrifice for the future of musical exellence in our school. A few reminders:
- All monies and tickets must be turned in NLT Tuesday, April 29.
- The spring marching band uniforms will be distributed during Thursday’s rehearsal.
- Marching band rehearsal will be held on Tuesday and Thursday this week.
- ALL Students are expected to participate in the Whaleyville Community Day parade on Saturday, May 3rd at 8 a.m.
- The final band booster meeting for the 07-08 year will be Thursday, May 1.
