Pre Festival Band Concert and Orchestra Pyramid Concert

The concert began at 6:55 and ended at 7:55.  The finest hour of music in Suffolk.  The symphonic band performed the repertoire they are preparing for the VBODA Festival to be held at Great Bridge H.S. Chesapeake, VA  on March 8.  The combined orchestra of JYMS and NRHS was conducted by Linda Hurwitz.  The orchestra consisted of 70 students from the classes of 2008 - 2014.  We are so proud of all students in the music programs at NRHS and JYMS.  The Spring Concert will be postponed until May.   SAVE THE DATE ON YOUR CALLENDAR.  Suffolk All - City Orchestra April 18th at 7 p.m.   Suffolk All City Band April 19th at 2 p.m.

Pre-Festival Concert Feb 26 @ 7 p.m.

The Symphonic Band and Orchestra will be in concert for the first ever combined Pre-Festival Concert.  Special guests will be students of the John Yeates Middle School Orchestra under the direction of Linda Hurwitz.
