The band brought home 7 trophies from Nationals this year with a ranking of 5th in the nation. Bravo, Warriors!! Looks like those 6 a.m. rehearsals really paid off.

Morning Neighbors
Please accept my humblest apologies for the early morning wake up:) We are preparing for a competion in Greensboro, N.C. in hopes of winning a National Band Title. The Nansemond River community has always supported the band and we never want to upset our neighbors. We will practice inside during the A.M. reheasals from now on. Wish us luck at Nationals Nov 9-11.

British Blast
We really enjoyed the visit from the students of the County Upper School at Bury St. Edmunds. I was feeding off of Dr Jenkins’ excitement. Before the concert the musicians got to share a few dance moves in the cafeteria. When the students got on stage from both schools, we joined hearts across 400 years and 41 million square miles of the Atlantic Ocean. The strings and the winds were awesome. I’ll never forget that concert. That was a BLAST!!!! I pray you guys are home safe in Suffolk…..UK that is. Thank you Sister Cities Commission, great job.
