Do you have a favorite book that you love to read again and again?

Have you found a book that you really enjoyed and want to tell all your friends to read it also?

Did you read a book that just put you to sleeep and you want to warn other readers about?

We’d love to hear your thoughts about any books that you are reading so others will know what you’re thinking.

hey mrs. weaver! love the blog.. i love reading but havn had the time lately to read as much as i want..;( ive been reading the Mary Higgins Clark books, and i just love her books.. they are so interesting!!!! so everyone out there should read at least one of her books.;) but i promise after the first page you will be hooked!!!

Caitlin, Mary Higgins Clark is one of my favorite mystery writers, too! She really does hook you fast. Another great mystery writer is the British author Agatha Christie and we have a few of her books. When you have read all the Mary Higgins Clark titles you might want to try this British writer.

I am currently reading Circle Of Blood by Alane Ferguson. This book is a wonderful book to read if you adore mysteries. If you have not read the first two books in the series, you need to check them out in the library. The first book in the series is The Christopher Killer and the second is Angel of Death. Enjoy!!!!!

The Wolves of the Beyond series is a continuation of the Gaurdians of Ga’Hoole series by Kathryn Lasky, And I would suggest all of her books to anyone who asks about them.

  • FGMS Library Media Specialist said,

Thanks for the endorsement, Hunter. There are several students reading the Guardians of Ga’Hoole series now, so they will definitely want to move on the Wolves of the Beyond!

I am currently reading the second book in the Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld. This one is called Behemoth. This series can appeal to both boys and girls because the two main characters are a girl (pretending to be a boy since girls are not allowed to fly) and a young boy who is the heir to the Austrian throne. It takes place in an alternate world to ours during the time of World War II, so it is a war story, too… in a manner of speaking…. but it is very different. Try these books! You just might like them! Westerfeld is currently working on the last book of the series and almost has it ready for publication. By the time you finish the first two, he just might have it out!!! I’m hoping it’s not too long from now. I can’t wait for the final book in this trilogy!
