And introducing myself:  That would be me, Mrs. Shultz, on the right. That handsome young man next to me is my younger son Casey, one of the first full fledged Bulldog graduates; class of 2008.

Hey there! Welcome to my blog page. Arrrggghhh, Noooo,We’re not listening, la la la la la la la la la -Summer vacation will last and last and last. Ok, I know, kids still have 2 1/2 weeks of vacation, but we can’t deny that it’s almost that time again. But hey, I’m a rose colored glasses kind of lady and prefer to believe that this year will be awesome.

I sincerely look forward to meeting our newest Bulldogs (WOOF!). I also look forward to meeting this year’s wonderful batch of Teacher Cadets who will be earning both High School and College Credit in our Teachers for Tomorrow class.

And some of you folks are in for a surprise. This year I will have the pleasure of working with Mrs. Story during 4th block Biology. This will be neat for me because I’m sure some of you had me last year in Earth Science. 

 Ok Mrs. Shultz, what’s up with this blog page? What’ll it be good for? I’m glad you asked. You can expect to see daily, or almost daily postings of what we’ve covered in class, upcoming tests, reminders, helpful hints, and maybe my secret ingredient for monster cookies.

This is also a very good way to touch base with me if you don’t want to bother with actual e-mail. Though I prefer e-mail, I will respond to notes to this blog. In some cases I may want to post your thoughts or questions to the blog if I feel that they will benefit your classmates. With all this in mind, enjoy the rest of your summer vacation, and I’ll see you in September.
