Teacher’s Corner

The colors of the month are Red and Pink.  Please encourage students to wear Red or Pinkon Wednesdays in February.

Report Cards will go home with students on Monday, February 19th. Parent conferences will be held between Thursday, February 15th and Friday, February 23rd before and after school and during resource times.  Please contact me if you would like a conference.

The Big Blast Party from our fall fundraiser will take place on Monday, February 19th from 2:00-2:50.

Student Recognition Assemblies for the 2nd nine weeks grading period will take place on Tuesday, February 20th at 9:50 a.m. for grades K-2 and 10:30 a.m. for grades 3-5.

Starting Monday, February 5th, 10 minutes will be added to our instructional day. Students will be dismissed at 4:00 p.m.

There will be a performance by the JFKMS Band, Strings and Choir on Monday, February 12th for students in grades 3-5. The assembly will start at 10:00 a.m.

Our Winter Pizza Party will be on Tuesday, December 19th.  Please send in permission form and $3 if you would like your child to participate.  Money and permission forms are due by FRIDAY DECEMBER 15th.

The Winter Musical will take place on December 14th at King’s Fork High School.  Third graders are asked to wear jeans and an ugly Christmas Sweater.

School will be closed for students and staff from Thursday, December 21st through Monday, January 1st for Winter Break. School will re-open on Tuesday, January 2nd.

The NPES Student Council will be sponsoring a Salvation Army Food Drive on Monday, November 20th through Friday, December 1st. Please donate non-perishable food items to the library from 9:05 am -9:35am. Students who donate will enter a raffle for small prizes.
