Important Information:

The Winter Coat Drive sponsored by Suffolk Christian Church will be from December 2nd till December 13th. Infant through adult sizes are needed.

Student Council will be sponsoring a Salvation Army food drive Dec. 2nd through Dec 6th.  Please bring all non-perishable food items to the media center in the morning.  All those who donate will be entered into a raffle of small prizes

We wear Red this month to recognize the act of giving. Wear red and show your support!  

Our Winter Performance will be on Tuesday, December 10th at 6:30pm at King’s Fork High School with all Kindergarten through Third grade students performing. Permission slips (yellow form) were sent home last week. Please return this forms ASAP. If your student is unable to attend, please still turn in the permission slip; just mark that they will not be at the performance.

The make-up day for Farm Day is Tuesday, October 29th. This a totally outside, wear sensible clothes and shoes kind of trip.  Please make sure your student has a bag lunch (no lunchboxes) and a towel to sit on as we will be eating lunch outside.

Our NPES Trunk-or-Treat is Wednesday, October 30th. This is a safe, family-friendly harvest celebration featuring trunk or treat, music, and games. I have attached the flyer as well. Hope to see you there!

Important Information:

On Wednesday is the annual Second Grade field trip for Farm Day. This a totally outside, wear sensible clothes and shoes kind of trip.  Please make sure your student has a bag lunch (no lunchboxes) and a towel to sit on as we will be eating lunch outside.  However, from the weather forecast I have seen, it looks like a 90% chance of rain on Wed.  We’ll see what happens.

Grandparents’ Week is this week! A pink flyer was sent home giving details and also the lunch menu for next week. The 2nd grade lunch schedule is 12:10-12:40.

The Charleston Fundraiser is due tomorrow. However, there is still a way you can continue to earn money for our school. I will be sending out an email with details.
